Cory Argenbright

Cory Argenbright is a United States Army Veteran serving in both Iraqi and Afghanistan as an Explosive Ordnance Disposal Team Leader. During his military service he was selected as the Training Advisor to the Iraqi Army Bomb Disposal School and the Liaison to the Multi-National Security Transition Command on Explosive Ordnance Disposal operations.

His time in the Military and after a nightmare transition Cory developed a passion for ensuring “Those that transition after me should never suffer the way I have suffered”. It’s this passion that drove Cory to start his own consulting company in late 2013. He then partnered with Stephan Porter to rebrand and found Saint Maximus Consulting in early 2020.

After transitioning from the US Army Cory has held positions in multiple industries; culinary, hospitality, construction, environmental services, government contracting, gas & oil, telecommunications and entertainment. Throughout his time in the above industries he has worked to educate and advise executive leadership on the capabilities and advantages of hiring from the Military Community.

With over 20 years of Leadership and Business Success in both the Military and Non-Military experience Cory brings a “no nonsense” approach to consulting that ensures that Saint Maximus Consulting clients are truly educated on the “Why” and “How” of Military hiring and retention. With the values of Integrity, Trust, and Passion, he ensures that Saint Maximus Consulting services are tailored to the needs of the client in a cost-effective way that drives a quicker Return on Investment.

Brian Drew, CIO Partner

Brian Drew first joined forces with Saint Maximus in early 2020 to leverage our shared experience and desires to change the world, but with mostly a shared vision for helping Veterans and their families!

For over 18 years, Brian Drew has started, partnered in, consulted on, and helped 100’s of small businesses. His expertise has guided these SMBs at the start, held their hands through hard times, and walked with them at the end. Brian has insight into many different industries, and knows the one thing that all small businesses have in common; passion and courage. He understands the dreams and ambitions of every individual owner. Those experiences give him insight into how to guide these dreamers to success and beyond.

Brian started his first company, Simply Computers, with one idea in mind; help the average person understand technology. That single idea was to take the complexity out of technology and leave the high-tech gibberish to the other guys; explain it in layman’s terms so that we could all understand. No longer would there be a barrier between those who know and those who do not.  It started out with him running around, sometimes into the wee hours of the night, fixing people’s computers. One client became five, then ten, then a hundred. It wasn’t long before Simply Computers grew beyond his imagination. He then started Simplex Technologies and added services and higher-level clients. Simplex Technologies became an integrated technology firm emphasizing the value and importance of combining technology with traditional advertising and Public Relations disciplines for success. In addition as he grew he partnered with Forward March helping retiring Veterans. All the way to the other end of the spectrum by starting Global Commodities Management, which brokers multi-billion dollar PPE deals with international and domestic clients.

Today, through that growth, he has never lost sight of who they were and where they wanted to go. That one single idea still drives him every day. His responsibility is to make the small business world attainable and understandable to anyone who has the entrepreneur’s dream and desire.

“If you want it, go get it. Your move…”
